Roads
A traditional mainstay of any construction company, road construction projects still represent a significant portion of our ongoing project portfolio. We have successfully completed some major roads projects in the past, and while we have found that the size of more recent roads projects has decreased considerably the relative number of projects contracted has proven resilient through initiatives such as the National Roads Authority National Road Safety Projects & Upgrades scheme. In addition to general civil engineering activities we have also a proven track record in the area of bridge construction which has seen McGinty & O’Shea deliver completely new bridge structures and also complete the upgrade existing road bridges.

Transportation
The completion of transportation projects, particularly those undertaken in urban environments represents another core McGinty & O’Shea competency. Through our projects we have become conversant with the many technical aspects of such projects and have developed good working relationships with many specialist technical urban transportation infrastructure companies. A major emphasis on effective pedestrian and traffic management measures is crucial in the delivery of these schemes and the experiences garnered in the completion of our Urban Streetscape projects has proven a major asset in this regard.
