This project primarily consisted of the realignment of a 360m section of the R582 regional road including the demolition of an existing masonry bridge and replacing with a 43m long bolted corrugated steel culvert and construction of in-situ concrete wingwalls/headwalls. River realignment works over a length of approx. 150m also formed part of the works as did the construction of a permanent access road 135m in length, the provision of roadside drainage including petrol interceptor, the installation of new crash barrier, traffic signs and road markings.
