This project primarily involved the rehabilitation of 11 no. existing bridges for Cork County Council at various locations throughout the county.

Works included the following: traffic management; river flow management; devegetation and site clearance; masonry repointing, stich repairs and reconstruction; in-situ concrete construction; remediation works to existing structural steel; kerbing; landscaping; drainage; road surfacing; tree-felling; underpinning of existing bridge abutments; river realignment; rock armouring; river bed lining; replacement of bridge parapet railings; shot-creting; installation of tie-bars, soil anchors and pattress plates; grout injection; PCC installations; environmental protection measures.
