The works comprised of the rehabilitation of the existing network in this area with approximately 671m of 600mm diameter ductile iron trunk mains and 650m of 180mm diameter HPPE watermains, including all valves, fittings, anchors blocks, connections, service connections, decommissioning of old watermains and reinstatement works.

The scope of works included the supply, construction, testing, and commissioning of new mains and services and the decommissioning of existing mains and services. Included the management of public relations with property owners to whom new service connections were being provided, and with the general public and key stakeholders who may have been affected by the works.  Traffic management  was a significant element of the works and some night works were required.
